Unboxing Estee Lauder Holiday Blockbuster 2018

Hello guys! today I will show you my Estée Lauder blockbuster gift 2018 set that I got last Christmas and I am so happy because this is the first time I have ever received an amazing Estee Lauder gift set from my panget. I can tell that he is really supporting me to whatever interest I am in to right now (what a supportive husband) LOL!.

So lets proceed to my gift..shall we? 😍..Ta daahh! Here is it, my Estee Lauder giftset (picture below) Isn’t that the best holiday makeup and skincare gift ever!

🌼 Advanced Night Repair Serum, 30mL.

This serum is really expensive and if you buy full size (30 ml) of it cost around 730 kr that is about 4,131 in Php (for today’s conversion). This serum is also available in 50 and 75 ml that cost 1090 – 1275 kr. Omg! I know your wallet will might not agree on it right? LOL!.Yeah it is expensive but honestly, it is worth it, just think about the prices of all the product you will get in the whole set is really a good deal.

This serum has a pleasant smell, somewhat like citrus-y scent and hint of a sweet smell that is not over powering and it will not bother you at all. It spreads smoothly and gets absorbed fast. It doesn’t leave any residues behind and it is not sticky at all. The consistency of the liquid is like water with a dash of oil, just enough to be easily and softly spreadable but not enough to make your skin oily and that is exactly what I would like from a serum (btw I’m not a fan of a sticky serum).

I have been using this product for a week now since I got it last Christmas. I use it after I cleansed my face in the night and before I apply my moisturizer. So far the texture of my skin and blemishes has improved (uhum!) as what it claim that it will remove all sign of aging hehe!. My skin has become much smoother and I am not breaking out as frequently as before. Any dry patches have gone away and my skin just feels better. I know it will take more time for me to see more results in this product, but so far so good and I am happy.

This gentle eye makeup remover doesn’t smell of anything but looks really gorgeous and luxurious in its dark blue glass bottle. It cost around 265 kr in kicks website and around 1593 php in iprice.ph. It claim to be gentle and has a lightweight formula that suitable for all skin types. It is also oil and fragrance free that is really good for sensitive skin. I haven’t try it yet because I still have one full bottle of Garnier and Nivea Micellar water, but I will definitely use this up completely from time to time but personally, it is not my favourite makeup remover like Garnier Micellar water that I’ve been using for year now. I like a cleanser that smells a little but this one doesn’t smell at all. I find it very strange that it doesn’t smell of anything (just like water LOL), I just want that little sweet cosmetic clean smell! I don’t have sensitive skin though so I can understand why some might find this amazing.

🌼 Pure Color Envy Lip Gloss

This Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lip Gloss comes in the shade Berry Provocative in a full size and as you can see it is also in a limited edition packaging too with some snowflakes and stars in the tube. The color is a more classy one, suitable for most skin tones but nothing special just like an ordinary lip gloss you can buy in the market. When I first saw it I know the shade is a kinda a little bit off violet and you might think it is not wearable at all, but hey! as they say don’t judge the book by its cover because this gloss is really nice. It has a beautiful texture and smells so delicious! The violet shade is not that bad and strong, it adds a nice pop of color with a juicy, sparkling finish into your lips. I can say that is the kind of color that you can wear on a daily basis and not necessarily for a special or festive occasion. I really like it!

🌼 Pure Color Envy Face + Eye Palettes

These three pure color envy eyeshadow palettes for Day and Night time feature seven shades each which is really a good deal. It is a palm size palettes that are nicely designed and curated to everyone and they do offer different finish too, from matte to pearl and metallic where you can use in different occasions. Not only you’ll get 18 beautiful shadows on these 3 palette but it also includes one bronzer and 2 wearable powder blushes you can choose each day. We all know that Estee Lauder eyeshadows are not the ones to go crazy for but they are wearable. I will review the palettes separately and tell you more about the quality.

🌼 Estèe Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara, 8mL

Nothing fancy about this mascara, it is just like a typical mascara you can get in any store available near you.It is not a water proof mascara but it doesn’t smudge which is really good.It smells like an ordinary mascara as well LOL! but not in a bad way that you cannot use it. The wand is humongous and tend to clump a little bit, so if you’re not a big fan of a bigger wand then this mascara is not for you so might as well giving it away to you family or friends 😉. I will not consider it as my top mascaras but it is nevertheless an excellent mascara that I would use on more natural type looks.

🌼 Pure Color Envy Lipsticks

These three pure color envy lipsticks are known for their moisturizing and creamy formula. I really like these three lipstick and they smell really nice too. I can already tell that I am going to really enjoy using these lipsticks and they are all shades that I would usually wear.

🌼 Revitalizing Supreme + Cell Power Creme

I love this moisturizer and too bad it is only a small tester size. I’ve been using it now together with the Night Repair Serum with this kit and they are both nice combo!.It has a light scent but that dissolve fairly quickly and it is not sticky as well which is really good to put it at night or even in a day. It is really a nice creme but the downside of this is the price. The price of a full size of this creme cost around 995 kr which is really expensive for the price of just a creme! right? so I’m glad that they include it in the kit so that we could test it out first,  but I know in my self that I will not gonna buy a cream for the price of 995 kr LOL!.

🌼 Estee Lauder Delux Makeup Bag

I absolutely love this bag and personally, I use it as my makeup bag because it is very spacious and fits all my make-up essentials. I love the red color and design of this bag plus the zipper type opening is a big plus!.The gold detailing on the packaging is really pretty and it just instantly gives you that luxury look and feel about it.

I do believe the set is worth buying, if you’re planning in purchasing one for your self. Even though you might not like or use all the products in the set, it’s still easy to find some favorite. The products come in full sizes so you’ll have plenty of quantity to use and enjoy. If you think some of the shades don’t complement your skin tone you can give them away to your friends or family members for which they can enjoy. Nonetheless you have a variety of skincare and makeup items to choose from, plus the samples that you’ll get as well.
