I won this Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Lip Treatment in a giveaway last Christmas. So happy with the product because it actually works! as you can see it has completely healed my dry chapped winter lips. Here you can see my lips before and after I use the lip treatment and you can see the big difference.
I’m pleased with this lip treatment as it makes my lips feel really soft and well nourished. I notice that the skin is not as dull as before and the skin is much more smoother.
The consistency is super thick but it is so smooth when you apply it on your lips, not that sticky and gross like others lip balm but if you’re not a fan of thick lip balm this one is not for you but I still suggest for you to try.

So I bought this candle making kit from Candle shack, a candle company based in UK. I know it’s kinda expensive if you buy it from the other country (where vat is not included so keep that it in mind) but if you find candle store in your place locally that offering a cheaper price then go for it as long as you have a basic raw materials for candle making to start with.
This kit arrived in a well secured packaging which is good, it contained one block 800g of soy wax, sustainably produced with natural rapeseed and coconut (RCX) wax, fragrance oil, crackling wood wicks, and sumptuous candle containers (two big size frosted glass and two small tin containers).

The kit contains all the raw materials you need in making a scented candles except for the equipment you’ll need to use like pouring jug, thermometer and string wood. The kits cost me around £20.00 for about 253.69 sek.

It also included a step by step instructions. The whole process of making the candles was very straightforward. It goes like this: Prep your container – Melt the whole block of wax – Check the temp – Pour the fragrance oil – Check temp – pour the wax in your container – and wait till it set. DONE!

Prep your containerMelt the whole block of wax
Melt the whole block of wax (you can microwave it or use the double broiler method)
Check the temp. The I deal temperature of the wax when completely melted is 65-60 °C. Don’t over heat the wax.Add the Fragrance oil to the melted wax and stir gently until the mixture is completely clear.Check temp. Allow the wax to cool down up to 60 °C before pouring.Fill the tins with fragrance wax up to the groove line. In glass container must up to 10mm below the rim of the glass.Allow the candles to set for about 24 hours on a level surface.
Once you’ve filled all your candle jars, you’ll need to set them aside for 2 weeks to cure so that the fragrance oil and the wax will solidify together. The more you cure your candles the more it will give you a pleasant heat throw.
This kit is a nice activity for you and your kids as long as you handle the wax with cautious and care due to the boiling water and hot wax, but everyone can do candle making so don’t spoil the fun of making your own scanted candles at home. If you want it more personalized, you could also add dried flowers, add a little bit of mica powder or design your own labels for the tins for a personal touch.
