How to Cook Chicken Inasal in Air Fryer yung ala Mang Inasal Chicken. If your are like me living abroad eh hinahanap-hanap natin ang mga pagkaing pinoy kaya namn gumawa ako ng HOMEMADE CHICKEN INASAL na napakadali lang gawin at lutuin. Sigurado akong magugustuhan nyo ito guys kaya namn tara na nood na!!

You need:
Chicken Legs
Garlic (minced)
Ginger (minced)
Lemon grass/ Tanglad (minced)
pepper
1/4 cup sugar (brown or white)
1/4 cup Lemon / kalamansi
1/4 cup Soy sauce / Toyo

It works well but the only downside of this product is the legs that flip out. It doesn’t stay put and I was constantly pulling them back out when checking the food. Also the tongs silicon tip don’t fit into the openings well at all and I won’t try to use to remove the cover from the fryer any more. Will either use a fork or see if I can buy a smaller set of tongs.

Wish the height of the legs could be adjustable depending on the food you were trying to cook.

I try to make “chips” and  the chips actually come out super crispy! Way better than in a large oven, which would always be chewy.

FILIPINO PAN DE COCO | PERFECT PAN DE COCO

🍞 Hello Superfriends! I’m back sa balakubak! Let’s bake Filipino Pan De Coco bread. Pan de Coco is one of our favorite traditional Filipino bread for our merienda (afternoon snack) or breakfast. Filipino Pan de Coco are soft and buttery baked buns filled with sweetened coconut filling. Tara Bake tayo ng Pan de coco.

Ingredients:

🍞 Dough
2 ¼ tsp. active dry yeast or instant yeast
1 cup lukewarm milk
½ cup sugar
4 cups bread flour or All-Purpose flour
½ cup oil
1 large egg
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla

🍞 Coconut Filling
1 cup Desiccated Coconut / Fresh Grated Coconut
¼ cup Brown Sugar
¼ cup Butter
⅛ Cup Heavy Cream
1 tsp Cinnamon powder

🍞 Eggwash
1 egg & milk

🍞 Bake for 25 minutes in 180 °C (356°F)

🍞 INSTRUCTIONS:

FOR THE DOUGH:

1. Combine 1 cup lukewarm milk, ½ cup of sugar, and 2 ¼ tsp. active dry yeast or instant yeast. Stir until completely dissolved. Let it stand for 5 to 10 mins until yeast begins to foam.

2. In the bowl of your stand mixer, combine flour and salt. Mix thoroughly. Then add egg.




3. Then add vanilla, yeast mixture and oil. Stir until just combined.

4. Knead the dough for 15 minutes until your dough becomes soft and elastic. Do the windowpane test, just take a small ball of dough and start to gentry stretch it out.





5. Place the dough in the bowl greased with cooking oil, cover it and let it rise (proof) for 1 hour. When the dough doubled in size you know you achieved a good rise.

FOR THE PANDE COCO FILLING:

6. In a cooking pot over low heat, combine desiccated coconut, butter, sugar and heavy cream. Cook for a few minutes and mix well until well incorporated.

7. Simmer until the sugar melts and has a sticky texture. Set aside and let it cool down.

FOR TPREPARATIONS:

8. Divide the dough into portions and form into balls. For an evenly sized dough you can use a kitchen scale.





9. Using a light rolling pin flatten each ball into a thick disc shape. Place about 2 full teaspoons of filling. Fold dough over filling to meet in the center; pinch edges to seal.

10. Repeat with all the other. Place all the filled dough on a baking tray with parchment paper and let it rise for another 1hr. While waiting you can now pre-heat the oven (375°F or 180°C°).

11. Before baking poke the top of dough with fork and carefully brush the rolls lightly with the egg wash. (1 beaten egg + milk).






12. Bake for 25 minutes or until the top turns light brown.

13. Tadaaaahhh! enjoy your meryenda! fika!

CHICKEN MECHADO RECIPE | FILIPINO FOOD

My own recipe of CHICKEN MECHADO Filipino style. Simple and easy to cook. Hope you like my recipe and let me know in the comment section below if you also like Chicken mechado.

Ingredients:

🌺 4 pcs chicken breast cut into small (breast, drumsticks or wings)
🌺 2 cloves garlic , chopped
🌺 1 medium onion , chopped
🌺 3 tbsp soy sauce
🌺 2 bay leaves
🌺 1 cup water
🌺 1 green bell pepper , cut into large chunks
🌺 2 medium carrots , peeled and cut into large chunks
🌺 2 medium potatoes , peeled and cut into large chunks
🌺 1 knorr chicken cubes
🌺 1tbsp sugar
🌺 Salt
🌺 ground black pepper
🌺 oil

Cooking Procedure:

1.  In a wok, saute garlic and onions.
2. Add chicken and stir fry until its color change to slightly brown.
3. Add water (just enough to cover the chicken), tomato sauce, soy sauce, laurel leaf, bell peppers, potatoes, carrots, and black peppers.
4. Bring to boil then lower the fire and simmer for at least 20~30 minutes or until the meat becomes tender. No need to add additional water if there are already enough build up of oil from chicken fats.
5. Cover the pan during cooking.
6. Finally, make a taste test.
7. Add salt seasoning if necessary
Serve while still hot.

PINOY STYLE MAJA BLANCA | TAGALOG

 

Maja blanca is a Filipino dessert made primarily from coconut milk. Also known as coconut pudding, it is usually served during fiestas and during the holidays.

 ☀ INGREDIENTS:

1cups corn starch
1 can Coconut Milk
1 can Cream Style Sweet Corn (del monte)
1 can Sweetened Condense Milk
410ml Milk- Fresh Milk
1/4 cup Roasted nuts (toppings)
Grated cheese (optional toppings)
