Siete Picados, Barracuda Lake & Twin Lagoon

This is the continuation of my Coron escapade, My second part of continuous journey!. I have my previous post before and if you haven’t yet  read the first one, click here. ☚

We started the day having a breakfast in Amphibiko lodge. Breakfast time to start the adventure! right? 😉 So I had a small serving of Cornsilog which is a short term for Corned beef, sinangag (fried rice) and pritong itlog (fried egg) plus a cup of kapeng barako that somehow helps complete my meal! then off to another expedition(but seriously I’m still GUTOM!! haha gutum much!)

Chitchat for a while  enjoying the cool breeze coming from the veranda

Off into the ocean and we went to our first stop SIETE PICADOS: We went snorkeling there and I was so delighted to see different kind of fish, especially the stripe one! I like it so much! Many of it like to swim with me too but I was just at the stairs holding my lifevest (takut eh!😂. The boatman told us not to step on the bottom because there are many sea urchins laying or hiding on to the corals so better be careful guys! (it is bit scary! right? but because I am not a good swimmer, it’s okey for me to staying afloat hehe. All in all we just spend 30 minutes in that place taking pictures and exploring the place.

Siete Picados: They said  it was one of the greatest snorkeling spot

My one and only picture with that fish!! hahaha 🙂 Come here little fishhy!! come to mama LoL!
OMG!! fish!! stop it.. feels like.. you guys imagining eating my butt!! amazing right?

In order to get to BARRACUDA LAKE: Our next stop! is to climb up again on tricky limestone rock with the help of this dos-por-dos wooden stairs hehehe 😊. The pathway to the lake was too small that allowing only a few people to hang around (bawal malikot or else hulog ka! hahaha)

KATIBAWASAN FALLS-Camiguin, Philippines

KATIBAWASAN FALLS – (Camiguin Island, Philippines)

Katibawasn falls is located at the foot of Mt. Timpoong, 5Km(3.1 mi) southeast of Mambajao, it measures 250 ft high. down into a man-made pool surrounded by orchids and wild greenly ferns. Water is superb relaxing and really cold but not good for diving :). From downtown Mambajao, you can hire a habal-habal or multicab that will takes 5-10 minutes travel.

You only have to pay 20 php entrance fee (per person) to be able to see and experience the Katibawasan falls.

Stunning Katibawasan Falls, Beautiful isn’t it?
The waterfall is the best back draft for your photo shoot 😛 hahaha!

The sight of nature was superb and worth it! . It was a perfect place to sink in after a long hours stay in white beach and for me it was even colder than the cold spring :). The falls was simply spectacular! The water was coming from high above the cliff and falling down like a giant shower!!

The water is of course ice cold so better condition yourself before plunging into the water 🙂 chillszz!!

Best of CAMIGUIN, Philippines

After we explore the beauty of white island, we all had to go back to our cottage  for  a quick lunch before we finally visited all the other notable tourist spots in the area.

I really like this picture because it looks like we are very happy and free!

FIRST STOP OVER: Catarman Church Ruins (Gui-Ob Church). The Old Catarman Church Ruins is located in Bonbon, it was the remains of the 1871 volcanic eruption that wiped out Catarman which was a picture of the illustrious Spanish settlement that was established in 1697, only the adobe walls and belfry was left as of today that survived the devastating wrath of nature. Nakaka-amazed yung structure kasi sabi ni manong tourist guide eh gawa daw sa corals yung church which is true nga 😀

Camiguin, Philippines “Come Again”

Try to visit Camiguin 🙂 A Hawaii version of the Philippines. Wherein there is lots of  mountain and active volcanoes that offer nice view on the Island. This place is really blessed on its cultural, and rich historical treasures that you will never forget. I should say Camiguin is indeed beautiful and I will call it paradise 🙂

Camiguin, Philippines

Leny and I

I really like the uninhabited white island called white sand beach. It ‘s about 1-2 kilometer far from the shore. Good thing is that we rented a cottage that is nearly close to the beach 😊. During high tides, this sand bar submerges on the sea and in low tide, you can actually go there and enjoy the fine sand and crystal clear water plus the nice view of Mt. Hibok-hibok.
