If you always watch a lot of beauty gurus/vlogger on Youtube just like me, then perhaps you are familiar with Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Yup! I know! I know.. I’m a bit late in terms of using Micellar waters just like I said all make-up artist and beauty vloggers have been raving about it for years now and yet I have never purchase it until last month. If you didn’t know I am addicted to applying make-up just recently and I find it so enjoyable putting it on my face. So now! one of my top priority is to find a nice and effective product that can help me remove my make-up fast. So here we go! It’s time for me to try this product.
I bought this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water last month (some people say it MAY-CELLAR other say MI-CELLAR oh whatevah you want to call it!). If you donโt know what a Micellar Water is, it is a water based cleanser that contains micelles, which Garnier claims acts like a magnet to remove dirt and makeup from your skin easily. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I can say that it is really effective in removing your make-up easily. For only (57kr) swedish krona you’ll get 400ml amount of product which is so cheap and really worth it! The packaging is really nice and the color pink lid makes it much more cutier!.
As you can see on the label, Garnier claims to remove makeup, cleanse and soothe with no rinse off. Wow No rinse! that sound interesting right! but honestly I only use this Micellar water as a make-up remover and then I wash my face with soap & clean water after that (but it’s up to you guys if you like it with No rinse or what that is how I use it ๐).I’ll tell you nothing beats of cleaning your face with soap and water hehe right?๐.It also claims to be convenient for face, eyes and lips for all skin type even the sensitive one. Itโs hypoallergenic with NO alcohol, NO perfume and PARABEN FREE.
When it comes on removing makeup, Iโm really impressed as you can see how disgusting the cotton pad is (picture above) after using the Garnier Micellar water. It really does it work on removing your make-up fast I can say!. At first it looks like just a plain water with little bubbles on it and itโs hard to expect it would do any good but it really works like a magic!. I noticed that it don’t have any strong smell and it didn’t give me any tingly sensation on my eye part whenever I am using it. It simply whips my makeup like an eraser and all the oil and dirt comes-off on my skin. It does not leave any residue or skin tightness effect on my skin!.
However, I can say that itโs not efficient with any waterproof eye products because one time I find it hard to remove it when I used my YSL waterproof mascara. I personally prefer an oil based cleanser for a better job removing waterproof products. But overall, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is one those really satisfying products that I bought, so lightweight and it doesn’t leave any sticky feeling on my face. It makes the skin feels lovely, refreshed and clean.With all that said, I will still repurchase it and I highly recommend it for you guys!
